Fashion Survey

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum.

I am currently undertaking a MA in Library and Information Studies in UCD. My thesis will be focusing on the role of Digital Resources on the Information Needs of Fashion Design Students.

To date there has been only one study on the Information Needs of Fashion students which was carried out by John Faughey for the British Library in 1979. There has been no comprehensive study since. Fashion Design students have tended to be ignored or lumped in with Art and Design and Visual Artists in previous studies.

I'm hoping my research study will redress this and contribute to an understanding of how fashion students are using blogs, websites, online forums and online magazines and how these digital resources are contributing to the learning process.
